clutch; How much to replace with install?

i was just wondering, when the time comes how much is it exactly to replace the clutch with installation?

stock clutch.

I think around 600-800 is average? Maybe I'm wrong.

go to hardtopguy.com, there is a price for the clutch parts. Labor is probably going to be the big one unless you do it yourself.

I just replaced the clutch on my girls 1992 Accord. Took about 8 hours doing it myself including lunch and getting the flywheel resurfaced. It was also my first time to do a clutch. I called my local Honda dealer to inquire about the cost for giggles and was quoted $1000 in parts and labor. I bought the clutch kit online for $120 shipped including the clutch disk, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and alignment tool.

is there a how to theread with pics for the clutch replace?
I think i got the best deal. I have paid about 100 to get my front wheel setup to replaced on my old specv.

Actually replacing the clutch on the S can be a pain in the ass. But, I am going to do it in March probably. When I do I will be sure to take lots of pics and do a step by step for all you DIYers out there. It certainly isn't too hard for someone who's mechanically inclined to do themself. Of course the Honda dealership won't tell you that.
