Unhappy Clutch pedal clicking at the bottom

Hi all, not sure if I should post this here or under the hood.

Anyways I'm new here, just got my 05 S a couple of month ago and now with 1500 miles the clutch pedal clicks when pushed all the way down. The clicking feels like when you click a pen, and i can feel the click through my shoes, my passenger can even hear it if i have the radio off.

Should I take it to the dealer? The car still drives perfect.

Ah yes, do take it back to the place you bought it from.

isn't that just the clutch-start interlock button??? if so, that's normal.

there is a switch there that closes a circuit so you can start it with the clutch pressed. it is a little button JUST LIKE A PEN.

That is correct. You should only hear it on startup. There is no need to push the clutch to the floor for every shift.

If this is normal won't it click on a new car and not after 1500 miles? And this is my 1st manual that I can hear and feel the click it gets to you after awhile. I'll take it to the dealers this weekend or next week. I'll let you guys know if it's normal.

I'm not sure how everyone drives their manual but I for one push the clutch padal all the way to change gears, don't want to grind any gears.

And thanks for all the inputs.

I have a 00 model and the clutch pedal (not the actual clutch/gear engagement) just started squeaking very occasionally, and a bit more often it would sort of stick at the very bottom.

After searching on here I found it may just be a case of the release fork needing to be regreased.

I took it around to the local honda specialist and he confirmed this is a common problem on all hondas and it was just indeed a regrease.
On a new car I would not think this would be a problem - but you never know.
