Clutch Pivot Point and Release Fork...for squeaking problem???
Can anyone show me a picture of the clutch pivot point as well as the release fork so I can try and lube it? I have the clutch squeak issue and can't seem to take care of it. My dealer just installed a new master cylinder, slave cylinder and new clutch fluid. After 15-20 min...I still have the squeak...although I think that my clutch action is a lot smoother after the fixes... Something is STILL binding in there and squeaking and I'm all out of ideas...another thread suggest lubing the release fork and pivot point...I don't think this is the problem because I only have the squeak after 15 or 20 min...nothing in the beginning when the car/clutch is cold...but if someone can take a pic or show me where it is I will try to lube it anyway....thanks
May need cleaning and lubrication of the splines, release bearing guide, and the fork hanger, all of which really requires the transmission to be removed. You can get a little grease on the fork by just removing the slave cylinder but more that that and you might as well do a cutch job.

Those are the exact symptoms that I had with my car - The squeak/groan would not occur until after several miles of driving. I lubed the release fork and everything has been fine for over a year. Maybe I was just lucky....
My squeak unfortunately did not stay away...so i went to the dealer today and they are going to replace the throwout bearing now. They told me they replaced everything hydraulic with the clutch. They also heard my 4000-3000 rpm rattle. They are going to give me a new clutch disc under the TSB 54 as well. I have 2 questions for you...since i have redline MTL and MT90 in my tranny should I swap it out before i take it in??? Will they notice the difference? and should I pay for a new pressure plate and have them put it in with the new disc....they quoted me 238.00 for a new plate however they said that if my plate looks bad....they will replace it for free. Any suggestions?
