My car is 1 year old and has 13,000 miles on it. Recently my clutch pedal has begun to sweak when it is pushed down. The sound seems to be coming from the pedal itself and not the transmission. Since my S2K is the first manual car I have ever owned I dont know if this is a minor problem that I can deal with myself or if it may be a bigger problem that the shop is going to have to deal with. Has this happened to anyone? Any suggestions?

It sounds like two dry pieces of metal sliding past each other.
