Clutch slipping problems
So a few months back my '00 was having problems with a slipping clutch. First it started only in vtec... but within a month I knew i had problems. It would start slipping in 2 and 3 gear well before vtec. So i figured, with about 50k miles it was time for a new clutch. I got a comptech flywheel and act clutch combo installed and everything seemed fine. Since it was winter time i haven't been too aggressive with my driving.
Now that things are clearing up... i've been able to take it to vtec again quite more often. But I still notice at around 8000 rpms or so my clutch feels like it's slipping again. At WOT, I get a stead climb up in rpms and then it just seems to pause a bit and climb some more and pause a bit. The car is fully warmed up, so i know i'm not running into the rev limiter. And it's not nearly as abrupt as that. I tried doing a search... but maybe i'm searching for the wrong terms. Anyone know what this is before I take it to the dealer? If it's clutch related i know I'm gonna run into "it's your aftermarket parts" issue. So i'd like to get an idea of what I'm dealing with before I go in.

Dosent sound like a clutch slip if it pauses and than continues to rise. I have a ACT clutch slipping thread already in the under the hood forum. Mine slipped on me when I hit about 5000rpms. Car stopped accelerating but the RPMS continued to go up. It also smelled real bad.
