I was heading home around 4am last night. It was a boring drive so i decided to tried some clutchless upshift. What i found is that, it's easier to shift from 1-2 then 3-4 than from 4-5 or 5-6. Is there any particular reason for this? The easiest/smoothest shift is from 3-4. One more additional question. Does this cause any damage to your tran/clutch at all?
NOTE: I shifted around 3K rpm.

I would think it causes some increased wear on the synchros.
