In-cockpit video of a fun-run

I've mentioned this video in a thread or two previously, but just recently thought to ask HondaGal to post it on S2Ki (duh). Fair warning: it's about 5.6MB.
Back in February I took my very first autocross run (albeit untimed) in my new S2000, and since it was a fun-run I got a buddy to ride along with his video camera. Since he normally drives a Camaro, he was a bit taken aback by the sensation of riding shotgun in a StooK....the result is some pretty interesting commentary

Now remember, this was my FIRST ever attempt at driving this car hard, so you'll have to forgive me for bogging the start and not taking the change out of the cup holder
. I hope y'all enjoy it...I know I still get a big grin remembering how awesome it felt to drive my baby after spending the whole day autoxing a Miata. Truly a world of difference. But I digress...anyway, I just wanted to share this pivotal moment in my life .

Cool Tedow! I had forgotten that course until I saw that. That was a fun run with a few cones down. I rode with Tedow right after that and he -- ahhh -- skipped a tight section of the course as he passed it tail-out at 80+ mph. I think he just wanted to go fast! In fact he skipped it in this video as well.
I hit more cones on this course than I hit in all of 2000.
Our courses are now run at SCCA legal speeds!

Glad y'all are enjoying it. Brandon, yes my car is stock. I just got some race rubber though, so I'm looking forward to testing that out later this month. Knowledge, yes that was a "Jesus" you heard . And yeah I did skip the last Chicago Box right before the finish (notice all the skidmarks?), but only 'cause that RX-7 did it first! And next time you ride with me, CG, I'll try and avoid the tail wiggle at 80 mph...that one even made my heart skip a beat or two .
