I have the Tein RA and have no problems with rusting. The damper body is aluminum. The only part that may rust would be the spring. Somehow I doubt that... As far as leaking goes, I've got plenty of track/street miles on RA's with no leaks.
I'd also add that the RA and RS are essentially the same unit, with RS adding remote reseviors to the rear dampers. That should only be necessary if you are tracking for long periods of time where lot's of heat is built up.

Thx JDMs2000, I try my best to show a non-bias opinion. Not just toward the products that I sell. I try to cover a little bit of everything. I have the Tein CS on my car right now. I bought it when it was the only available coilover from Tein. My choices were between the Cusco coilover, Zeal Function B-6 and Tein. At the end, I went with Tein because of their reputation as the Top guy. And I have been very pleased.

the more and more i read the more i'm feeling like my original choice is what i am going to go with. which is the tein rs. the buddy club are suppost to be very nice. but really i haven't heard any comments on people using them.
I have the JICs and i love the ride. At the lowest setting, it is very comfortable still and slightly stiffer than stock. Even at this setting there is no dive or squat that I can detect.
At two clicks from full, the ride is perfectly harsh. I love it. I still haven't been able to try it out at the autox since the install almost a month ago (working through weekends
) but hopefully I can make it this weekend.
