Coilover help... Tiens/H&R appear to be choices
Tiens... H&R.. which is better, and is $1500 a reasonable price to pay for them (i am assuming since retail is roughly $2000, a group buy could get them for $1500).
This subject has been beaten around a bit, but I dont recall any clear answer. I don't really want the Comptec versions, which I am pretty sure use the same stock unadjustable shocks (i would think the shocks wouldn't appreciate being squished all the time)?
thanks..Scot

Scot, were you there at Summit Point this past Friday??
Your price point seems bit low, but if somehow you could get them at that price it would be a steal.
I wouldn't bother with poorman's coilover versions even the Comptech ones if you are planning on driving seriously.

Scot-
Are you making fun of my Coilovers??? Just kidding.
I have the Comptechs with the hope that an aftermarket adjustable will be made in the nea future.
I think either company makes great products. I beleive the Tiens to be of a higher quality though.
There is a local Honda suspension expert you may want to consult. His name is Roger Troxell and he is the had mechanic at Franks Foreign Cars in Middletown. Talk to him, he will be able to give you an un-biased opinoin about both companies.

hey randy - no, i wasn't at summit. i completely forgot, and never saw any more posts about it here.
I guess at this point, i won't be going until next spring.? I would really like to get onto a different course. I am not sure spring will work well for me (dorky cpa crap).

hey marty -
I keep forgetting you are "low-S2000".
hehe
I may give that guy a call. it seems like $2k is a decent deal compared to the adjustable units from TODA. How much diff in quality is there??
Those comptechs are nice to move the car up and down, but I don't think they add any performance?
did you get wheels (either stock or aftermarket) yet?

These are very expensive but very nice. They are aluminum and you can adjust rebound and compression.
