Default Coilover Issue

so im currently running Zeal B6's and there is no problem. Yes, to me the ride is a bit harsh so i was thinking of getting them out and putting on some shock/spring combo and not the coilovers. However, i want the best of the best for my car that fits my needs. Getting the spring/shock combo is good enough, however i think it would give me peace of mind is i rather had the coilover since they were made for each other (the spring and the shock).

So, what im asking is which coilovers are right for me? Right now im at the second to the softest setting and the San Francisco roads are killing me. Performance wise, this is great i believe.

Any response would help me tremendously so please help me out. thanks!

Bilstein PSS9... is it harsher than stock?
Comptech coilovers?

any others would help.

Teins are ok, but im seeing if there are any others. Friends had Teins before and ran into problems few times so im trying to see what else is out there.

I dont track the car so i dont need super great coilovers. Im pretty sure most of the coilovers on the market would be cheaper than Zeal B6 also!

look at the springs that come on the coilover, because more than likely the shock valving is done to match,

tein CS is the luxury riding one, has very low spring rates, compared to flex @ 10/12

on the CS u can even go 2 less on front and 2 less on rear (i think its 4/6.. u could go 2/4.. dont quote me on the #'s but its the softest ride avail.. esp if you swap the springs out which they will do when u order if you want

try koni sport shocks( on H&R springs or eibach's(250$)....its lowers by about an inch or so and the koni has 2 settings for you to adjust..firm and soft
its cheap compared to your setup now and much softer, and hopefully get great handling
im trying to decide if i get the koni's myself or not...good luck, i hope this helps

Koni have 2 SPRING PERCH settings, and are adjustable, from FULL SOFT to FULL FIRM,and anywhere,in between.

I will suggest the T1R B-Max. They are less in price if you compare to Tein SRC or PSS9. At the softest setting, the ride is smoother than stock. Since you never track the car but if you ever do, just dial up the dampers and they will do the work for you.
