Default Cold Air Intake

Just got a 2001 Honda S2000 hardtop that is Spa Yellow. After my first payment I am looking at getting a cold air intake. I ahve seen many different ways as well as companies that make them form the S2000. Not sure which one to get for the looks, price and performance. Any suggestions?

Get the Aut cooling plate from the group buy section here. Gut the stock air box and add a good K&N then call it a day.

Cheaper than a good CAI like Fujita
Makes power
And you get some carbon fiber bling under the hood!

I like my AEM v2, but I got it used for cheap enough so all I really enjoy is the sound. It's your call, so go pick one, install it, and come back to continue one of the ongoing debates about what is the best

will do. i am going to have to do something. maybe at a temp i will get a k&n filter until i find a cai that i really like. the only thing that i am worried about are all the sensors that are attached to the stock intake. where do they all go b.c i know of a lot of after market ones i have looked at, there arent any attachments.

the intakes usually come with directions that tell you what to do. if i were you i'd get a true CAI (that goes below the bumper to take in colder air), like the AEM V2 or V1, Injen, or Fujita. a short ram like the FIPK or PRM will heatsoak during the hot weather and you'll really notice the bog.
