Colgan Bra pictures
Javaguru:
There are attachments on each wheel well. They are metal hooks covered in some kind of felt like material. You can see their locations pretty clearly in the last picture I posted. The little square marks are where the hooks are sewn in.
Is this what you are talking about?

Song,
Your car looks great! The bra should be okay after the rain. I use mine when traveling on Interstate highways, and I have been rained on before also. Here are a few pictures of the Colgan on my Red S:
A Zaino shot...
...and the view most other motorist see!

ReedZ - cool pictures! I've got to try that Zaino stuff one day.
I'm one of those folks who do not think that bras look so bad on cars. In fact, red/black is a good combo. My Porsche was red and I also had a black Colgan on it. Your shots reminded me of that car. Here's a picture taken on the morning before the new owner picked it up....
One day, I will get another one of those. Preferably a sloped nosed black one!

i apologize for not being clear. what i meant was: did you insert the top two felt tabs between the wheel well liner and fender using the ABS shim tool?
my concern was the wheel well liner may be permanently deformed after doing this.
thanks.

Javaguru:
No I did none of the things you mentioned. The bra actually fit quite well. I took it off this afternoon since the forecast had rain. There was no sign of any kind of deformation of any kind in the fender liner. The hooks that fasten to the fenders are preformed and fit quite well.
After the rain is gone from the forecast, I will put it back on again.

thanks for replying. i was just wondering why the instructions that came with the bra specifically mentioned that the two felt tabs have to be inserted between the wheel well liner and fender.
to those who installed the colgan bra:
did you or didn't you insert the two felt tabs between the wheel well and fender?

Hey
A Company in Australia makes car bra's (Carbra Australia, http://www.carbra.com.au ) And i got one for my '96 Celica. It's real good, I've done 161,000km's in my Celica (Got it brand new in Jan 97) and we go driving long distances and the carbra really protects the front of the car.
The bra is a really good fit. It looks a bit different to yours. But this bra actually stops stones from hitting the whole bonnet and windscreen from this little flip part on the top of the bra.
Check out the pic's in my sig. Also, the Carbra Australia site has alot of pics of other car's with Bra's on.
Performance Mods 1996 Celica SX 5sp: K&N Intake. CAI, Powerchip, Removed Resinator on a 2.5" exaust. Was 135hp now 150hp (100kw now 115kw)
And the painted calipers give it an extra 30 hp too!
