Color Doesn't Matter....to the Cops
Today I was driving my Sebring/Black on Interstate 65 North of Birmingham, Alabama. I saw a state trooper coming up the on-ramp into the Contruction Zone (55 mph speed limit), so I slowed down to 55 and set my cruise control. The jerk came up within 50 feet of my back bumper and my Valentine One went NUTS! He wanted to nail me SO BAD, but he couldn't. I had thought that the color mattered in visibility to the fuzz, but if you drive a S2000 you are fair game.

I think Honda S2000's in general scream "arrest me" no matter what color you are, however I believe that color still has a large part to do with it. For instance, if let's say a Spa Yellow Pearl and a Berlina Black are cruising side by side down an interstate at the same speed over the speed limit, you can probably bet the yellow car is going to get nailed first.
I just installed my pillar pod.....i was followed twice by cops in the last two days....They like to lay back to see if i am going to take off
and not realize they are there.....the piller pods just scream "Hey
this car has some balls" .....Just scan that rear view ever 15 seconds....sometimes more on the interstate.

Funny, it seems that hotted up Civics and Nissan 200sx get all the attention in my area. (They're the prefered cars of the local "boys in da hood" around here - cheap and quick).
A guy in a Peugot 206 raced me from the lights once. The cop chased him and left me alone. (I tapered speed off about 10 above the speed limit, he kept going)
Maybe it's not about the cars at all, but about what you do in them.

I might be getting a beater cuz my spa yellow is way too much attention.
Hheheh. i get what a pillar pod is. Damn, i wanted to get one for my car for the oil. I guess my s2k might become riced-out.

I guess I wasn't specific enough. I was above and behind the trooper as he was coming onto the Interstate - he would have had to have had a backwards facing periscope to have seen me. Nonetheless, the point is I really thought the "hot" colors like Spa Yellow or Red would catch "the man's" eye but evidently any S2000 is fair game for them.
