does anyone know what the color temperature is in K for the hid lamps that come stock on an s2000? Im guessing 5500K but im getting a kit for my car (talon) and liked how the s2000's looked. we are also looking at an s2000 (for dad) just got to sell him on it, granted its no 11 second talon but hey hes an old guy and for him thats a great car... okay so HID... does anyone know?

I don't know, either, but I'd be interested in knowing what HIDs generally put out for a full spectrum. The reason is that I'd like to know how much IR they might put out in defense of police laser guns. I've had a few instances where it seemed like the HIDs bouncing off a large glass area in front of the car (like at a mall or service station) set off my V1 detector. It could have been some other source of IR but it seemed to be HID-related.

Anyone?

No OEM HIDs are over 4300 or so. Remember the optics, IE the lenses, effect the color you see.
