You can install retrofits for H1 housing but why? How often do you use highbeams to require this?

Well if you have $ to just throw around, more power to you. OEM Color is 4300k (well it's 4300k for us Nissans). The thing is, the S2000 has a projector housing for it's lowbeams. It looks closer to 6000k. So if you want to match it, a 5000-6000k capsule (bulb) will look closer to the stock color.

it only looks like a 6000k at the top of the beam where all of the colors are jumbled together. the rest of the beam is as 4300k as any car.

Before you waste your money on a HID retofit kit. Have in mind that HID are not useful for quick high beam falsh bacause they need time to warm up to full brighness. Even factory bi-xenon keeps the halogen highbeam and uses lenses to reflect lights from the low beam for high beam use.
