Colors
Black is a part time job to keep clean, but my S2000 is pretty much a weekend driver so it is always clean plus i actually enjoy being in the garage at night adding wax listening to music or whatever. If you don't like to clean your car yourself be prepared to spend major bills keeping black clean. My last car was silver and i have to say black looks so much better right after a coat of wax or two compared to silver. Now about that 2002 red interior well i'll just keep my thoughts to myself, good luck
Condensation and evening carshows don't mix well with black either. But, black is definately sexy. The other S2K colors look great, but, eyes linger on a well polished black. If you want to spend a lot of time with your car, get black so that you can have an excuse to be the hottest car at the wash.

if i posted the same question and was faced w/the same delema, i'd want more than one person telling me why i should or should NOT buy that certain color.
if only one person said "NO BLACK" and one said, "YES BLACK" how would one decide...
in regards to other colors...
i don't own all of em unfortunately, however, i've owned a silver TL (99) and of course b/c it was silver AND metallic, no swirls and barely any dirt showed...
i now own a yellow s2000 and it takes work to keep it clean... i clean it just as much as i did my silver TL (3 times a week and wax once a week) but the dust and dirt on the TL didn't show up (unless you were really close up) and the dirt and dust on the yellow s2000 shows up a lot more... YELLOW/BLACK DUST... SHOWS UP BIG TIME...
i think the easiest color to maintain would definitely be the satin silver metallic (the silver of the 00-01) models.
not only does the top blend in so perfectly, but the dirt, and dead bugs don't even show up.
my friend w/that color hasn't washed his car in two weeks and it looked the same as it would if it was just washed... WHICH OF COURSE COULD BE A DOWN SIDE if you're into wanting your work to PAY OFF AND SHOW UP ON YOUR CAR... (after waxing my TL, i saw no difference, but the yellow s2000 shines)
i'd probably get that silver if it was available...
so how's that for a review of colors?
i know i didn't touch them all, but i can only comment on what i had, have and seen!
This should answer your question:
I don't know who's car that is...but the pic speaks for itself....beautiful
.
If your still not certain another added bonus is that black is the fastest colour and here is proof.

I saw the 02 Black/Red in the show room three weeks ago. Awesome looking car with that color combo!
If you really have the time to keep it clean, then go for it. I decided to go with the Silver/Red. The S2k looks great in any of the colors.

Could everyone please be just a little MORE negative about his color choice...?
Black is beautiful, and I am sure he (she?) will keep it clean and shiney!
Too bad he couldn't get the Silverstone though. They are the fastest. When the light bounces off the silverstone, it actually PUSHES the car forward. That's why it had to be discontinued in the US - just too fast...(
