Comments about seating position
Hi. For a while I would sit scrunched over in my S because this made me feel like a racer, more tense and alert in the car. After some experimenting, however, I feel it might be better to sit straight up, with my back against the seat.
This probably will be more comfortable and safer in the long run. What do you think? I'm sure there are members who know how to best adjust the seat in a racing car like the S.

I use the seat adjustment each time I'm in and out of the car -- all the way back for "ingress and egress" and about 3-4 inches forward for driving. (I'm 5'11".) I've decided I don't like the stretched-out-arms approach at all. HPH

Depends on your size.
For me,it's all the way back, with the seatback tilted,as far as it will go.!!!

Although, I don't have a choice in the matter. I wouldn't fit in the car very well any other way
For handling, you should adjust the seat so that your lower and upper back are supported. If you seat is too far back and your upperback is not supported, you will not get the full support of the bolsters when cornering.
Cornering is when you will feel the importance of back and shoulder support. Being connected to the car and to the seat will also help you to feel what the car is doing during the high speed corner and help you to adjust accordingly.
If you are only "ass in", you will be thrown around or you will be using your arm and hands on the steering wheel to balance which is not safe during cornering or at the limits.
If your just cruising, it's whatever feels the most comfortable for you which could be up and erect or back and laid back.

Wrists should touch the top of the steering wheel and back of the seat should be fairly vertical. Legs should be comfortable to fully depress clutch with slight bend in knee. There's very limited seating adjustments in the S2000 and if you are within their design criteria, the car works well.
I wish the bottom cushion could adjust as it the back leaning angle puts pressure on my back and I had to put a custom cushion the seat rather than tilting the seat forward with spacers.
