Default Commuting in an S2K

Alright. I commute everyday around 50-60 miles roundtrip. Right now I drive a Matrix. I want to hear from all who daily drive their S2Ks. How long? Gas? Comfort? Stop and go or highway? I've test driven several but not longer than and hour. I'm a big guy. 6 ft 230 lb and I felt comfortable in the test drives. Your thoughts please.

I DD it about 65 mile round trip. From my house I take 9 miles country twisty road then 21 miles freeway, then 2-3 city and i'm at work. I love it. I find the car very comfortable. It is pretty loud and i've found that my stupid phone is very quiet so I can't make calls while driving..top up or down. I just crank the music and enjoy the ride. I get about 26mpg. No problems passing or merging onto freeway...obviously. I'm a small chap though. 5'10" about 130lbs. I really like the feel of a stiff suspension too. And there is just NO comparison when you can go top down all the way. now that it's winter i don't have too many chances to do that. city driving is no prob. because when you're at low rpm you have low power so it's pretty much just like a civic...untill you wanna have some fun.

I commute about 60 miles round trip per day. I love driving it. I have never had my back start hurting or anything. Gas mileage is not so great however. I seem to be getting around 20-22 mpg. I drive mostly on a freeway to work except maybe 5 miles each way on a curvy round speed limit 55. Highways I usually drive around 65-70mph. I really love sitting in the S2000 and driving, great support with these seats.
I would rather not put so many miles on the S2000 but I can't get myself to drive anything less as I like it soo much. My top doesn't seal so great so a bunch of wind noise, but just recently stuffed some rubber liner stuff in there and it is much much more quieter now.
I would highly recommend it to anyone even for daily driving on long commutes. I'm about 5'11" and weigh 180 or so. I fit great in it but it could be pretty tight being 6'4". You said you test drove one already and if you fit fine I say go for it.

I commute daily in the S about 100 miles round trip! I am 5'11" and 245 lbs. and I find it to be just fine for comfort.

I average 27 mpg when I cruise but usually get 25 mpg because I VTEC at least five times a day to merge!
The interior warms up or cools down fast when I want it too.

My only complaint is that I go through tires every 7 months and it is a little loud. ( Invidia exhaust!)

I drive about 55 miles round trip as long as I don't make any detours..

I have a female friend in the area that also has an S, she does about 135+ miles per day total. She usually fill up every two days.

100 MILES! Man that is a lot. I think Im planning on DD the S for about 2 years then geeting another DD and creating a track preped S. Another concern is the horrible roads here in SoCal. Pot holes, cracks, uneven road. This will make it really hard to drop it when I decided to do the suspension and wheels. Damn LA Thanks for all the reply guys. I can't wait until I get her.

I commute 80 miles round trip every day.....95% of it is highway. I currently have a daily driver, but I drove my S2k regularly to work before i got the DD. With the stock seats, I have no complaints...comfort is perfect. However i am running single piece buckets, and they get my back sore after a while. my suspension i pretty hard too.

But stock as a DD =
