Alright. I commute everyday around 50-60 miles roundtrip. Right now I drive a Matrix. I want to hear from all who daily drive their S2Ks. How long? Gas? Comfort? Stop and go or highway? I've test driven several but not longer than and hour. I'm a big guy. 6 ft 230 lb and I felt comfortable in the test drives. Your thoughts please.
Disclaimer: I am a relatively new S2K owner.

My S2K is my daily driver and I commute 56 miles a day round trip. I have 3/4 mile of neighborhood, three miles of stoplights (four), then country roads all the way to work. I am 6'2 and 240.

So far I am averaging 23/24 MPG with "moderate" driving.

Once I got used to sitting in a "cockpit" rather than a conventional "driver's seat," I am quite comfortable. I find that since I am actively driving the car I don't really notice the tight quarters.

10 mile round trip here. Almost always 99% freeway, when there's traffic i take local.

I come to work with a big grin on my face every morning. I love driving the S!

I'm only on it a few miles but sometimes it's like a friggin' parking lot. I do 50 miles round trip 30-40 minutes there and 1-2 hours back home.

less than 2 miles... all local.

The only thing that pisses me off is a line trying to get out of the parking structure (usually 3+ cars) and the line to make a left turn from the company (again usually 3+ cars).

50 miles round trip, about 50% stop-n-go. No problems with fitment, and the S2000 is a great car for hopping through traffic.

My S is my DD. About 72 miles every day, 16 miles open city driving and the rest 70+ mph. I have always thought the car was comfortable, but I am a little smaller then you at 5'9" 175lbs. The car can be loud on windy days with the top up.

For the last three years I have averaged 26.8 mpg with this commute.

Dan
