4.9 sec to 100? Yeah right... I wonder where that page got its stats from.

The fastest 0-100 time on an AP1 would be what, 5.5 sec with a hard launch?

I've owned both. NSX is lower/feels lower. I had the NSX-R suspension and the car handled wonderfully, although it's easier to toss the S2000 around. They really are quite similar, but I did enjoy the NSX's greater low end power, the engine also had a much better sound. Overall they both provide the same driving enjoyment in slightly different ways.
Just curious, what year was your NSX? I'm looking at NA1s myself and haven't decided which one I want to keep.
I had a 94 (coupe). 5 spd, 3.0 liter. If I bought another, I'm not sure I would want the later 3.2 6spd models, just because they are significatly heavier. Oh, the NSX also has a lot less headroom that the S2000.
It's a personal preference which one is better (s2000 vs NSX) after owning both, I'm still not sure.

There remains an unsold, "brand new" 2005 NSX at Marin Acura in Corte Madera, CA, a mile from my house. The dealership bought it themselves and it has a NOT FOR SALE sign in the windshield, but money talks I'm sure.

It tortures me daily....

That NSX would be a dream to own... But the dealer would probably want GT-R money for that car.

A used NSX would be a great deal, but a brand new one would be a tough decision for me... if I had the money in the first place.

Considering the sticker is $89k....which is already GT-R money.

Geez, that's pretty crazy. At least you get to see one in person often. I live in ohio and see 1 maybe 2 a year just driving around. I actually saw one the other weekend, I tried to catch up to it to show my friend who was with me but I got stopped by a red light and it was gone.

Road & Track admitted that the 0-60 for the S2000 was a typo in their magazine the following month. The actual 0-60 time for the S2000 in that test was 5.4 seconds I believe.
This question was brought up on this site when the article first came out in 2001.
