Default Competition in the looks department

Well, i saw my first 04 Viper RT/10. And I gotta tell you it looks a lot better than in the pictures. They got rid of the ugly rear end and now it looks a little bit like a Sebring but better.

The roll hoops look a lot like the s2000.

It looks so good I saw it going the other direction and I did a U turn and chased after it for 5 minutes just to find out what the heck it was....

Me like!

Nah, they look like ass. Well, compared to the old viper. I park next to a silver one every night. Now, comparing the $31k S2000 the the upteen-thousand dollar Viper is kind of pointless, regardless of the model year.

But the old Viper GTS cannot be beat, as far as aggressive sports car looks goes. The new one is a shameful step back for the gorgeous curves of the old.

IMHO, of course.

I love the viper and i do agree the Viper GTS was my favorite and still is....if i had enough money for one it would be a used GTS....even though the new one is faster I rather the GTS...

Using the Sebring in a sentence endorsing a design is not the most compelling of arguments.

But there is some sense in that it looks now like a Sebring that mated with a C5 Corvette. Me no like. The original GTS coupe does it for me - the new Viper is too "corporatized" and lacking the unbridaled ferocity of the original.

I have to agree with everyone here, I like the old design better also. Nevertheless, if I had a choice I would go with the new one anyway tho. Cashout, IMO there is no competition in the looks department, I say the Viper beats the S2k hands down. (I guess this could be said about all aspects of the Viper comparing it to an S2k, LOL)

I guess it just shows I didn't like the old Viper's looks!. Maybe as a race car (IMHO race cars can look like ass and it doesn't matter, what matters is performance). But as a street car the old Viper never did it for me. The new one does.

I am only talking about looks...

i have to agree on the new Viper. I saw only one this past year in the summer and it was really brief but it did look bad-ass clean sharper lines. However the GTS is beautifull too so i wonder if they are going to release a GTS version of the new body-style sooner or later
