I have an injen, sound is great, power is noticable in higher gears. That being said, I am extermely nervous every time I drive it when it rains. I would go comptech or AEMv2 for the simple peace of mind when driving in the rain.

for peace of mind in rain, and a lot of sound go with the PRM. Its not Carb Legal, but the change from stock to the PRM is very very simple!

Ive heard that injen and aem are the same so id rather go with aem cause i have a good experience with it. I dont care about hydrolocking. all i care about is that it is a very loud intake and that it gives the most poer at high rpms even if its 1hp less than anothe intake thats quiet. Im really triing to decide between comptech and aem

The Comptech is nice, but AIN'T CHEAP! It's really just personal opinion at that point. Another thing to consider, the Comptech is a little less intrusive... the AEM/Injen design requires that the filter be routed down to the passenger-side wheel well, meaning some *minor* cuts to the underbody plastic need to be made. It isn't a bid deal since you can't see it unless you climb under the car, but it makes install a little more difficult.

I WOULD recommend that if you install the AEM/Injen style, you invest in a pair of rubber ramps to put the front up... makes life MUCH EASIER.

I made my decision i guess from what i found out they make around the same power no diffrences to feel and the aem is louder which i like but the comptech is nicer. Im gonna go with the aem cold air but change to a KnN FIPK when it starts raining my dad sells them so ill get one for free

Is that classified as a CAI? All I see in that picture is the intake end of it is still inside the engine bay which would be pulling warm air.

PRM = noise maker

No cold air, no ram air. Just HAPPENS to be sold by a sponser... hmmm...

AEM is a GREAT CHOICE:

I prefer the Comptech. CARB approved and makes the most power:
