Vortech has always been helpful to me. Sad to hear that Comptech is going.

eh, i was never really blown away with their products, seemed to be a LOT overpriced.

I was never impressed with their stuff for the price they charged. I had three different intakes from them, both self and proffesionaly installed. Total crap from the rubbing to the piping separating a few times while driving. After that I never bought any of their other stuff. No tears shed here. My only concern is that there is competition for Vortech in the SC department to keep the prices down.

Just goes to show, this is one hell of a tough business. Comptech had the best service in the industry and sold a ton of parts. If they couldn't make it then I'll make sure never to open a tuning shop. Bummer...they gave Paxton a lot of business so I imagine Paxton is gonna be hurting after this. Hopefully, they'll get bought by someone who will continue to design aftermarket parts for Honda. Comptech was pricey but no one doubted their quality and commitment.

Should go down since you won't be able to get fix it parts for it.
fix it parts?

the only thing comptech supplies that you wouldnt be able to get elsewhere is the supercharger mounting bracket and vtec sandwich plate... other than that everything is replaceable or serviceable (supercharger, fuel management, hoses, fittings, etc)

They owe me 370 dollars for my Diff Exchange?? What will happen? I already have the comptech diff, but they said 2 weeks ago it would take a couple weeks to credit me the 370 core return..
