Comptech diff and 4.57s FUBAR'D
I really suggest though of you with diff problems give hardtopguy the benefit of the doubt and contact him. E-mails get lost, if you don't reach him send him a PM or pick up the phone and call.
Jeff has always done AWESOME by me. I've bought body panels by him, clutch kits from him, a diff from him, etc. I never have an issue.

The you-tube sounds a lot like wheel bearings. You could put the rear on jack stands, and let the wheels roll in gear. That way you could pinpoint the noise. The dealer should have put the car on a lift and done this. Just remember what happened at the end of Faris Bueller, if you do...
Went to the garage and jacked the driver's rear up: turning that wheel by hand, I can reproduce the faint "clunk, clunk, clunk" for each revolution.
Jacked the passenger rear up: turning that wheel made no noise.
Could this still be bearing or is it CV? Or maybe still differential?

CKit, you have PM
From what you are describing and the video you made, it sounds to me like a rear hub/bearing failure.
CV joints usually only make noise when they are under load ie in a corner.

Sooooo.....
On the advice of the forum:
Axle nuts checked. They were tight. Had them tightened to 220. No difference.
Had rear wheel bearings and hubs replaced (left and right). No difference.
CV joints swapped left-right. No difference.
The noise is coming from the differential.
Going back to stock and sending the old one to HTG.
Destroyed with 17k on the odometer.
We'll see if it's the gears or the LSD or the pumpkin.
But it's true: with my "normal" street driving, the rear end cannot handle 300whp and sticky tires.
Well, it was the differential. Swapped for stock and noise / vibration GONE.
Thinking of just junking the POS Comptech diff / 4.57 gear setup.
If it doesn't stand up to my normal daily driving, I'm going to take the Audi out for the spirited drives and relegate the S2k to top down cruising.
For that, I think I'll enjoy the lower gear ratio at hwy speed and the lack of the 4.57 whine.
I don't think it's worth it to leave the stinky old pumpkin in my garage and pack it up to ship back to HTG. I'd only get a cost reduction towards another built diff that will STILL not hold up to my "spirited" driving.
If anyone has a burning desire for it "as is" and wants to pay for shipping + handling. Let me know ASAP or else it's going in the dealer's trash can today.
