Well, from my experience (I own a Comptech and there's a few Mugen owners in my area) the Mugen is only slightly louder than stock - the Comptech is only a little louder than the Mugen. Sounds great though...

Can't go wrong with Comptech

Mine has a good low sound an is almost too quiet for me. Sounds like a quality exhaust.

I had one too but swapped it out for stock. I droning got to me, and setting off car alarms in the parking garage was looked down upon by snooty, suit-wearing, professional folks. (That or it was because it was their car alarms being set off. )

i will be buying one in the next week. I think they are fairly quiet. I don't think you will be disappointed. I think they are the best looking exhaust and I dig them even more due to their non-abnoxious sound.

I love the sound of the comptech at s2000library.com

I also am interested in purchasing a comptech and I am wondering if the droning noise becomes annoying with time?

Once the membership system comes back up (any day now), you can get the entire cost of it back on the purchase of the Comptech exhaust in the S2KI marketplace.

The droning on these is nowhere near what you get with any of the louder exhausts, singles in particular.
