Comptech exhaust, how loud?
I am wanting to purchase a comptech exhaust system, I heard invidia for the first time last night, and thats a little too loud, I was owndering if anyone had anything to say about the exhaust? Loud, or not too loud? It would be great if anyone had sound clips, let me know thanks everyone!
Well, from my experience (I own a Comptech and there's a few Mugen owners in my area) the Mugen is only slightly louder than stock - the Comptech is only a little louder than the Mugen. Sounds great though...
Can't go wrong with Comptech

i run a comptech as well, and i couldn't be happier. they have a nice growl down low, but not at all obnoxious. when you get into vtec, it has more of a nanny nanny boo boo this is my car not yours kinda sound.

from what i hear the comptech exhaust has nice deep tone exhaust, not too loud, not too quiet

s2000library.com has a video clip or 2 of the comptech exhuast, as well as many other brands
I had one too but swapped it out for stock. I droning got to me, and setting off car alarms in the parking garage was looked down upon by snooty, suit-wearing, professional folks. (That or it was because it was their car alarms being set off.

i will be buying one in the next week. I think they are fairly quiet. I don't think you will be disappointed. I think they are the best looking exhaust and I dig them even more due to their non-abnoxious sound.

Once the membership system comes back up (any day now), you can get the entire cost of it back on the purchase of the Comptech exhaust in the S2KI marketplace.
The droning on these is nowhere near what you get with any of the louder exhausts, singles in particular.
