Does anyone have the Comptech High Flow Air Intake? I was wondering if it is worth the money? Does it add any noticeable performance? Does it save any weight? Does it improve the engine sound? How does it compare to the Mugen Cold Air intake?

 

comptech is about a 4-5p midrange gain and a 5hp peak gain and does add a better and louder sound...if youre looking for the best intake performance wise and money not being an issue, then look into j's racing, asm or mugen...if money is an issue, look into a spoon snorkel and a high flow k&n filter

probably comparable to the comptech...ive never seen a dyno sheet though, but i was giving him an alternate example besides the comptech...

 

Comptech is a great intake but it limits the possibilities of front strut tower bars because the design of the box. Great intake. I have it and love it!!!

 

I have the Comptech Ice Box and the sound at WOT is incredible IMO.
