Default Comptech Icebox Intake

Anyone have a Comptech Icebox intake on your S?

What is your feedback? Do you like or dislike?

Any performance gains?

Is $350.00 a good price?

Do you have any idea how it compares to the AEM CAI in performance? Or the J's Racing

I had one but sold it and got the AEM. I battled with buzzing at WOT for months before I finally had enough. I personally like the sound of the AEM better, but the Comptech just looks so damn nice in the engine bay (which is why I originally got it). This was just my experience with it - I'm sure if you end up getting it, you'll be very pleased...

Don't get me wrong Luke, it's a great intake. I think I was one of the few people who had buzzing issues (the guy who has it now loves it) and most of it I attribute to the install. It was mainly the sound of the AEM (and the fact that I got one dirt cheep) that made me switch.

You'll be happy with it Luke, no worries...

I bought my Comptech before my S even arrived. I can't attest for sound or performance differances between Comp. and stock since Comptech is all I've known.
The only problems that I've had is the screws that hold the cf lid down always seem to work loose. I used plumbers tape instead of lock tite to solve that problem. Also, periodically have to check all the clamps to make sure the various sections aren't coming loose. Sounds great at wot!
