- yea, one of the reasons I got it was for looks...
- I didn't go with AEM or INJEN because they're too loud... well I haven't heard it on the s2k but on other cars its way too loud, ricey if you ask me.. can't say that for the S though..

I purchased one earlier this year and have enjoyed it ever since. It sounds great at vtec and it dresses up the engine bay to. I've had a few issues with it rubbing on the hood but I applied some felt on the bottom side of the hood and whala, problem solved.

i mainly bought the comptech for reputation and looks. plus i want to buy a sc and having the box already their will aid to my sc'ing my car.

comptech was a pain to install. took some figuring out and a lot of tweaking to get it right. im a perfectionist, it has to be in right. their is a small gain, better throtle response, not a lot of noise in my car.

why is it that you don't have that much noise with your comptech? I have bad buzzing and I put some foam between the hood and lid of the box.

im not sure. maybe because i have the sound of the dual amuse r1 over powering it. i installed my exhaust first, so im not sure how loud the intake is, but i hear no difference.

does your intake box rub on the hood? Did you "crush" the foam on the ac lines like the comptech instructions says?
