Default Comptech or K&N?

The time has come for me to buy an intake for the car. Ive narrowed it down to either the Comptech Ice box or the K&N FIPK. Now ive researched and found that apparently, the K&N does make a bit more power than the comptech does. However I did read that the Comptech had some fitment issues and the hood prop did not fit correctly. I like the look of the comptech system but its also 100 bucks more. Just wondering if anyone had any previous experiences or maybe knew some more information. Thank you in advance.

Pics would be nice if possible as well...

neither will give you significant gains. I too have heard of comptech fitment issues, but I have no first hand experience. Get the comptech if you want some more engine bling, otherwise get the k&n for $100 less.

K&N is louder... maintenance you can just simply take out the K&N filter and oil it.. its made out of normal filter material.. the comptech one is like a sponge material.. :|

I like the K&N one better
