Do you have any pics of it installed in the car? I have the Spoon STB and I want to make sure it doesn't interfere with the setup. There are CAIs in the mkt. (e.g. AEM/Injen) that will not clear the Spoon STB...is this an issue for the Comptech CAI??

If the CAI is actually an airbox like the ones for the ITR, then expect to see a greater surge (though not significantly great) between 4-6K RPM (when compared to the AEM/Injen)

The air box portion of it will be similar to what we've been using on our s/c kits. It definitely clears our strut bar, but we haven't tried it with a Spoon bar or any other yet. As for noise level compared to the other brands, I know that our Ice Box setup on an Integra or Civic is much quieter than the other brands and I would expect this to give similar results. I will be able to answer more questions once we've got the production pieces in hand. We will have photos of it on our website at that time.

Foam filter. That's some old technology right there. Curious: why foam? Also, how's the sound compared to stock / AEM CAI?
Nevertheless, I'm third on the list to receive the Comptech CAI. I'll post how it goes unless someone else wants to do it.

Sorry for the delay in my response. We have the first pieces coming out of the molds right now. As soon as we can get a final test fit in our car, we'll be getting them boxed up and ready for shipment. Baring any snags, we should be ready to ship in 2-3 weeks.
