Comptech Supercharger sound?
How does it sound? Is it loud? In a good way or bad way? How about the blow off valve? Is that loud on the Comptech supercharger or are blow off valves only on turbo charged cars? I am starting to look into supercharging my S. Any info would be great. Thanks
-you can have BOVs for sc'ed cars.
-the sc sounds like ass when you first start her up. impeller lash is what it's called as it's warming up.
-under about 35 mph on the street you can hear it though. sounds great. sorta like a sucking in, whining sound. above 35, the wind is usually too loud to notice it anymore.

Adjust the belt properly and the sound is fine. Too tight and you may get a buzz saw sound, which I had in the beginning.
Now it's a very cool jet engine kind of whine, typically loudest when decelerating between 3k and 5k rpm's.
