Default Comptech X-Brace: Just for looks?

Hey guys,

Does this part actually help or is it mainly decoration like the various strut tower braces? What do you notice on the street? How about on the track?

If it does help, are there better and cheaper alternatives to the Comptech piece?

Thanks

Most people say,it's for looks only:can't really say a word against,as I have a Muz X-brace+Comptech rear brace+ Neuspeed STB+ Cusco 3 pieces subframe kit.
Some like it STIFF.!!!

Sounds like you have every brace in the book.

Who else makes the X-Cross brace other than Muz and Comptech? WHat was the reason you went with the Muz over the CT?

Thanks.

They all do the same thing, but I like it cuz it protects the oil pan.

I recently put the Spoon X-brace on and I could tell the difference right away. It makes the chassis a bit more solid, more solid over bumps.

I have the Spoon as well, but would trade for the CT if I could find someone to trade. The rest of the braces are CT and that's my one 'odd' one.
