I have to say that Comptech has their act together. As a dealer for them I wanted to know if their stuff lived up to all the hype. It is very expensive and trying to justify 1155.00 for a pair of headers to a customer is a little tricky. (This was for a v6 accord-my prior car) I can say "Comptech guaranteed 16 hp at the wheels, to that customer till I am blue in the face, it's not very convincing, so I tested it. I bought a pair for myself, installed them and dynoed the car before and after-----It was true! They guarenteed 16 at the wheels and they delivered. Spoon and Mugen are great tuning companies, I love their stuff (don't have any yet), but from experience, none of my customers have had any complaints about comptech, and I think they measure up.

All of these vendors will or will not void the Honda Warranty? Is Mugen the performance arm of Honda like AMG is for Mercedes, SVT for Ford, TRD for Toyota and so on. I am just glad we have choices.

Modifications will NOT void warranty UNLESS it is proven that the mods CAUSED the failure, then that failure would NOT be warranted.

The gains from most headers and exhausts on their own are within the margin of tolerance of hp variation from the engine. ie, some folks with headers and exhausts dyno the same as a stock S2000. In most cases, how many of us can really use the extra couple of hp, anyway? That said, it does feel good to spend money to make those minor improvements and to help the economy along

my apologies to mike, no flaming intended, looking back, i obviously read into his response the wrong way. Im looking for the best, and the only reason i had titled the post the way i did was becuase i was leading "myself" to believe comptech was the best, and thats still what i believe. When mike had referred to not knowing why spoon cost more, i took it in the wrong context, and i resent myself for it. As for the rest of your replies...., well, i'm still wondering if anybody has done a dyno Anychance i can avoid more sarcastic remarks?!?!, however well deserved they are!;( Again, i apologize for the post, but only did it out of a misunderstanding. Gotta get back to work now... the airforce doesn't give a very long lunch break Happy Holidays all,

Brandon
