Default Conclusion to S getting stolen.

Well insurance came and settled, paid off the car and i took home a lil change in my pocket which will hopefully cover some school expenses and a few bills.

I was unable to buy the car back from them seeing as i did not have the funds to do that, or even arranged to do that. Sorry all, just gotta watch those auctions! I had triple A insurance if that helps you in searching for the chasis for a race car.

I dunno what my next car will be, probably something less expensive, and alot more low key and definitely not a honda. I need a better security system too. This is the second time it's happened to me and i hope the last.

*sigh*
my first new car and probably my last for a long time.

So long my 2002 Sebring Silver S2000. You will be missed and fondly remembered. I love you.

Some pics of her in her glory days.

I am sorry for you loss. I know it will be tough taking a step backward, especially since it was through no fault of your own. I know you want to remember the car as it was and I don't blame you, it was a cool one. However, I do want to thank you for posting the 'picked clean' photos - it gave the community better insight into how the car is packaged. Best wishes on your next purchase.

Your story is making me cry, especially after seeing pics of the carcass in the other thread.

Isn't there any way you can use the insurance money to make minimum payments on another S, until you get out of school? (I know you can get one for nothing down.) I don't know your situation, but I'm in grad school, and there are definitely a lot of student loans available.

I hate to see the bad guys win!

Sorry for your loss, bro.

-Pete
