Default Condensation - Moisture in Tail lights ? ?

Hey all =

I have a MY00 with 3500 miles on it. I noticed today that I have condensation or moisture coming in the drivers rear tail light? There does not appear to be a crack....

Do these come off and maybe need to be tightened?? Anyone else with this problem.

Steve

wow this is the first I have heard of this on the board..

Does it dry up by itself? Can you see where it comes in at?

To answer your question you can take the entire asembly out but getting the plastic cover off is a real PITA.

It would be a huge pain to fix this! you may need to reseal the housing and cover together. I have never done this, but I would imagine it would be done the same as the headlight diffuser install.

If you are serious about trying to get them apart, try doing a search on "painted Tailights" or something to that effect. There is a thread describing exactly how to take things apart. If I'm not mistaken Kokodan (I'm sure the spelling of that is wrong ) did the write up so you might try to look for that name and pm him.

If I come accross the correct spelling I'll letcha know.
