Condensation - Moisture in Tail lights ? ?

this is covered under warranty, as long as the previous buyer had a bumper to bumper warranty,

Well I noticed my 03 had condensation in the taillight as well after washing my car one day. It just dryed up and all gone, havn't noticed it since but I will see what the dealer says when I take it for service.

You don't need to take the lights apart!!!!

If you want to remove them, they're held in by a small handful of small (10mm?) nuts behind the trunk trim. Disconnect the bulbs, remove the light assembly and blow some hot air into them with a blowdryer or something. You can even put them in the oven at LOW heat <200 degrees for a while and see if that evaporates the moisture. Chances are though that if you leave it alone it will go away by itself in time. The lights are NOT hermetically sealed.

I have this problem too.. This occured after i got rear ended.. The rear tailights were completely replaced though. It only happens when it's really cold out.. Is there like a round rubber washer type thing like there is on the headlights? Perhaps they forgot to put it on when they put the new tailights in.. I'm gonna go check..

I have had this same problem too. Minor moisture in the driver's side tail light cover. It only occurs on wet cold days and it dries up in a few hours so I don't worry about it much, but definately would like to know what the dealer says about it. Keep us posted.
