Condolences for the Hardtopguy family
Some of you may have known that Jeff's mother-in-law had been battling cancer. At a couple points along the way things got bad. Some of you may have even had service from him interrupted because of this. Anyway, she had been staying at their home to be looked after/cared for.
After all her battling, Tuesday she choked on some food, collapsed, and was rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, she never came to per se. She had limited brain activity and was non-responsive. Feeding/breathing tubes were in place. Earlier today, doctors confirmed that no new activity had occurred and the hard decision to remove the apparatus was made. After all those that needed to be there arrived, the removal took place. She left this world approximately 20-25 minutes afterwards. She is no longer suffering.
Please pray for comfort for the family she left behind.
All facts may not be perfect. I knew of his mother-in-law's accident Tuesday. I hadn't heard from him, but had been thinking of him and his family. So much so that I called him from work tonight around 8pm. You ever get that feeling? IIRC, the time of passing was around 7pm. Jeff is a friend of over 4 years, not just a car buddy. He was just at my house(7 hrs away) this past weekend to help with my deck build.
