Studless winter snow tires work just fine.

I DD mine in the snow with no regrets (and even a bit of fun now and then).



I've gone over the mountain passes and passed LINES of SUVs that were crawling up the grade.




I wouldnt hesitate making the switch, but that's because I the S

Make sure you have a garage to park over night and out of weather. If can find a winter driver that'd be great. I DD mine. But it doesn't snow where I'm at.

I love my Blizzaks and winter driving.

I would give up a newer Civic in a heartbeat for an S.

yea like i said before i have brand new snows mounted on 16 inch steelies, i dont know why but whenever i have a car over a year i get attach to it, you think the S willl be 10x more fun then my Si?? is it really worth it? i dont have kids or anything and i dont really carry stuff with me just my fishing pole lol. and i really do hate taking any other people with me. i just worry about the safety of the car, i know my civic is really safe with its 6 airbags lol

As everyone has stated, good snow tires will be able to get you through the snow. One thing to keep in mind though, if the snow ever gets to 4" and above, you will not be able to drive through it. That might be an issue you want to keep in mind if the snow gets that high where you live and if they don't plow your streets fast enough.
