Default Considering this car, would like your thoughts

Does this price seem too good? I'll check the usual carfax etc, but I get the impression something is wrong. And it's also posted by a "dealer" of sorts. I can't find any info on the dealer.

Thanks in advance for your input

Price seems decent to me and red/black seats are hot!

Hideous wheels (2001 called, it wants its wheels back), crap tires, aftermarket intake, missing spark plug cover, and do I spot a fram filter?

STAY AWAY.

I do like those seats but OMG VTECs issues resonate with my concerns.

The wheels/tires/valve cover are bargaining points probably, but are the other concerns something that I can't have verified by a mechanic? Compression test, check clutch slip etc?

Thanks!

A new clutch at 56K miles is too early. It has "dealer" plates and the car is parked in front of a residence?

I remember seeing a similar car some time last year on Craigslist in Sacramento. The ad did mention it was salvaged.

Beware!
