Considering a new S2000. need help, please!!!
I faced the same questions a few weeks ago and I recommend SAVING like mad for the first 2003 you can get your hands on. Being stretched is no fun at all. And who knows, the 2003 may have a few really nice goodies like heated seats, more power, etc.

Hi, Marc,
Thanks! Actually I made it in Photoshop. The car itself is taken from a picture someone else on the board posted but it's flopped to make it come from the left instead of the right, with lots of tweaking and extra layers added. I use the images as a repeating tile in my e-stationary and everyone thinks the S2000 is the coolest car.

I just purchased a brand new '02 - and I tell you, it's a blast. I intend to drive this car every day, to work, to the store, to NYC, etc. However I did have to spend some money right away. First off, you must get winter tires, I went with BlizzaksLM-22 and a set of four new rims. I don't have a garage, so I needed to get a car cover. I spent some money also on cleaning products. In my opinion, to drive this car every day you must spend some $$$, after you drive it off the lot, like about ~2K. That is the only drawback.
There is no reason to believe that this car will not be as reliable as every other honda I've had - besides for your first couple of years of ownership you'll have the warranty, so you won't have to spend so much money on repairs if something does go wrong. Hope this helps.

Since the last post mentioned a used S2000 (nothing wrong with that, you still will own one of the most beautiful cars in the world...) I would also suggest checking Ebay. I was looking for the little model cars as a gift to a fellow S2000 owner, and I was surprised the number of dealers who have put their S2000's on the market through Ebay.
But as always, buy with caution...
