I hear that the seats are highly sought after. People stealing and selling to those that want to put into civics. Buy seat locks.

How odd....

My wife and I traded in our black F-150 extended cab for a 2002 Spa yellow pearl...they gave us 2 grand MORE than we owed on it..talk about a deal!! But this was back in 02 and boy have things changed...

IF as you say it fits in your plans go for it...we miss the S2000 every time we see one (which is often)...but with two kids and talks of a third a S2000 is a LONG way off....

I've been daily driving my s2000 for a few months now, It's been absolutely wonderful every mile. It's a great car to have and drive almost everywhere. I've clocked 10k in the past four months. I've been on several 8+ hour road trips with the only issue being the unreclinable passenger seat for the 06+ model, small issue but an issue none the less.

I purchased my red 06 with 30,800 on the clock for 19,000 back in may of 09. I would try talking them down in price and a replacement top. If model year isn't a issue 02-05 with low mileage can be had for 4-10k less then what you're looking at now.

Good luck, I hope you're able to find one.

shop around and you'll get a better deal. When I first started looking earlier this year, I had a budget and I ended up staying within my budget and got an 06, Honda certified, with 33k miles for $18k from a dealer.

I put on 2k miles since I purchased in May and I've decided to sell it and get something else but the S2000 is one fun little car.

How much did you pay for your truck when you bought it? That is basically what you are paying for the S2000. What do you owe on the truck?

I got my 2006 from a private seller for $20,650... 7600 miles. They need to do better on that deal or you should consider finding another S. Not to mention we're getting to the end of the prime driving season.

Your passenger seatback angle doesn't adjust? Mine does.

I drive my S daily and wouldn't have it any other way. When I get stupid and take one of my other cars to work, I regret it all day long. It's a sacrifice in some aspects like "in car" space and parking is a pain since I am ultra careful when I have to park in public lots. Other than that, like others have posted, it's great to be driving such a fun vehicle every day.
