Default Console Clip Removal Tool

Anybody know where I can find or purchase a tool for removing the console clips.
Any info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I don't think you actually need a "trim release tool". The center console is very easy to unsnap by hand with a longish screw driver. But if you must, then you can go to almost any automotive suppy shop and ask for one. For those "tricky" jobs, I use a "dandelion" poker. It's like a long screw driver with a big flat "V" shaped end on it. Just blunt it before you "re-assign" it to car duty. This would be cheaper than getting any "auto" intended tool.

Those things are cheap too. I think I paid $4.00 for a trim removal tool at Advance.

This is a good tool to always have in your tool box, I use it constantly.

It's called a flat blade screwdriver.

With the screwdriver pointing to the floor insert the tip under the top edge of each console clip and lever back against the top edge of the console. It requires very little pressure and will pop them out effortlessly. (Wrap the tip with tape if you really feel the need).

No need to spend money to remove them
