I just got my S2k last night ... during my brief time on the road after dark, there must have been like 10 people that flashed their brights at me (thinking mine were on). Some guy even let me pass him on the freeway just so he could get behind me and flash his lights for like 10 seconds.

Anyone else seeing this happen??

What should I do?? Flash them back with my brights for a f*ck you??

I have the same problem. I have been waiting for the day that I could flash at them but they drive by me before I can flash them back. I'll get them one day Has anyone been pulled over for there lights yet for "being too blue" or anything like that?

I suppose it depends on your locations. Here there are lots of HIDs(Lexus, BMW, Acura, etc etc) so it's not a problem. But if I get flashed, I flash them back breifly.. not a f you, but just a "sorry, you are wrong, I can't do anothing about it" type of deal.

I've been pulled over by police once. A woman (on crack I think ) stopped a passing cruiser and said a car(mine) was flashing blue lights trying to pull her over. The police then caught up to me and pulled me over...right in front of the local car buff hangout on a saturday night!I then told them all about my headlights but they acted like they didnt belive me and had me pull off of the road and project my lights against a building and had me flash my brights ect. After 4 police men( two squad cars) studdied my lights they let me go without any type of citation. I am a very polite person when I get pulled over but this time I was ready to go off because I knew I was not speeding and didnt break any laws. I also get flashed all the time and am scared to drive behind cops. I dont know whats worse now, the police in front or behind me! The headlights still are the best I've seen (from behind the wheel) and I'm still glad overall that I have them.

Here's the thread about the police officer pulling me over and repeatedly warning me to stop flashing my high beams in his rear view mirror (I wasn't).

if you're having these problems, make sure that the dealership didn't leave the spacers in your coilovers.

I had one person pull over until I passed. I guess they thought I was a police car, I just think it's from owning an S2000.

I had a cop pull me over after I had my car for a few months and he said "Hey man whats up with those headlights" I told him they were the factory bulbs and he studied them for a couple of minutes and then finally let me go. Dumb cops...

People don't necessarily think they are on bright, but when the front end bob's, the distinct cut-off line looks like you are flashing your lights at them. They get behind you and flash you because they thought you were doing that to them.

WARNING!!! When I bought my 2nd S2000 they left the spacers in which causes the S2K to bounce pretty good! I kept getting flashed at night! Without the spacers its not so bad. You need to check to see if they took out the spacers in your springs.
