Cool

I do like consumer reports. I don't exactly agree with their evalution of the S2000. But I really like the fact that they use a copy of one in their print ads for using their car buying service..... It's a red one!!

However, the gripes about the trunk release button are well founded. A button somewhere on the dash would be more convenient.
I disagree, the trunk release button is where it is for security reasons. If the car were left open (briefly) you could lock the glove box and prevent someone from gaining access to the trunk. I agree that it's a small hindrance, but it will help keep "honest people honest"

It might help even dishonest people to be honest. Now, as for the position of the glove cubby... Well, that's another story. Getting in that thing while driving is a bit of a safety hazard (if you ask me).

The steering and cornering are better than anything I have ever driven!

True, but you're supposed to be concentrating on the road. If you need to get something out of the glove box, do it while you are at a stop sign, or a red light.

^ Y'know, I hear that. I really do, kfar. But where else am I supposed to put my sunglasses, gloves, etc..? The car is impossible for storage. I'm not complaining, but let's be real. Stuff has to go in the glove box, of course. And then, if I need these things while I'm moving, well there you go...

I have been reading Consumers for about 30 years, I would say that the emphasis has changed in the past 4 or 5 years. Before then, cars were viewed strictly as appliances. They did not even bother to test sports cars. Things have changed for the better, and I don't think that we have anything to complain about as this review is about as positive as they get. Even Accords and Camarys come in for about as much criticism as the S received.
