24 mpg, never burned any oil since new. I drive like a granny. Rarely in VTEC unless at track.

My MY07 (170K miles when it suffered engine damage for unrelated reasons) and my wife's MY04 never burned any oil. My MY07 now has a MY04 engine, and it doesn't seem to be using any oil.

My MY00 that I've had since 18K miles and has been through all kind of driving situations just recently started using oil. It just turned 100K miles a few wks ago. But it only uses a notable amount when I use Mobil1 10W30. I burn off 0.5qt every 1K miles on the dot. With Castrol 0W40 or 10W30, its never burned anything.

I find that highway use is the time for most oil burning.

If the car seems to feel right, doesn’t make any noises, etc., I wouldn’t assume something major is wrong. Just keep an eye on the dipstick, you may just have a car that doesn’t burn much oil.

my lifetime average over 7.5 years and 25k miles is 27.8 mpg. My last couple tanks were over 30 mpg, I play around high in the rev range, but I don’t speed so that is probably the cause of my higher mpg.

That or a low modified car with a bunch of drag adding aero and falken rt660 is actually just optimized for low resistance motoring and that seems unlikely.
