Well - I am happy to report that my Berlina Black S2K is just about the perfect car out of the box IMO.

That's as good as it gets!!!!!!

Modding is like placing your signature on your vehicle
Driving skills are where most of us need modification.
Excellent driving skills.
Now that's a signature to be proud of.

I was riding along as a passenger in my friend's MR2 Spyder early last spring thinking, "man I oughtta get one of these," when all of a sudden a Spa yellow S2000 comes driving by. I asked my buddy, "ooh what's that?!" He said it's an S2000, and that he wanted one but couldn't afford it.

I bought my S2K two weeks later, having never considered the MR2 again.

AwesomeMan, those are "rooster tails". They are caused by the shockwave of a supersonic or near-supersonic airplane close to the water. The painting's depiction is a little idealized and exaggerated.

Damn I wish we had the MR-S in Canada. I'd probably take one over my S2000. Drop the GT-S motor in it, do one of those killer body kits and have just a killer car.

The GT-S motor, unless massaged to reduce the peakiness, would not be a suitable engine for the already twitchy MR2-S platform. The best engine is one with a flat torque curve (oxymoron?). You wouldn't want to be in the midst of a turn when the GT-S motor does its version of Honda's VTEC. I really miss that mid-engine feel though of my Spyder. There's just something about how they flick around the road that makes them sooo much fun to drive, even at moderate speeds. Lucky USA Lotus Elise owners of the future will know what I'm talking about. Woo-hoo!
