convertible
i have some concerns about the convertible on the s2000 or many car convertibles.
does it make loud, i mean loud noises on the freeway?? i have to commute , so it would be really annoying, wouldn't it???
i have also heard of leaks and burned out motors or stuck convertibles
is this true???? i have never owned a convertible,so i really don't know anything
thanksssssssss

Yeah, unfortunately, it is a bit loud. There is nothing like a steel roof and layers of sound insulation. But top down on even less than ideal days more than makes up for it. We have a sedan as our second car (or is it our first car?). I drove it the other day and kept thinking I wasn't getting enough air and kept wanting to lower the roof!
This is my first convertible. I have no previous experence to compare with. It is not as noisy as I expected, even with the top down. I could hear the stock radio fine with the top down at 60-70 MPH. You may want to lower the volume when you slow down. Anyway, the engine sounds great too me, even for a 4 hours ride. Of course, you can't really compare it with a luxury car's insulation.
