I'm trying to buy a convertible top cover on Ebay and the seller claims that the cover works for all model years. Is this the case? I've heard otherwise and respecfully request someone to clarify. I just don't want to spend money on something that won't fit.

In order to avoid potential flaming let me add: Yes, I searched. No, I'm not a total newbie, but I am admittedly pretty car-challenged. Yes, I realize that it's a pain in the A$$ to put on and serves absolutely no purpose. That being said, it does make the car look better, hence the purchase.

 

I've noticed that, in addition to the straps, there are 2 extra 'buttons' on mine- 4 places to hold the cover on. I've also seen some that have the 2 straps and 4' buttons' - 6 mtg holes. So I'm not really sure.
