Convertible top inner liner
I know that some owners have purchased the convertible top inner liner. How easy was the install? Does it cut down on noise? Does the car stay warmer/cooler? For those of you who are taller-does the liner sag and hit you on the top of the head? Is it worth the money?
I have the liner and like it. It very slightly reduces head clearance, but does not appreciably "droop". It installs in about 30-40 minutes of CAREFUL work. The difference in noise and its ability to keep the interior more comfortable makes logical sense, but is so small I haven't noticed much difference. Is it worth the money? I think so, but it is a bit pricey. I bet that there will be quite a few cars at the Asheville meet with the liner if you can wait until late April.
