That elise looks like a kit car. Do you really want people to think you drive something similar to a Fiero Ferrari knockoff?

Enough said, get the S2000

Get both!.

First ... get the Elise... when you decide it is time to change (didn't like or whatever) I'll do you an even trade for my S2000...

Everybody wins! :-) ;-)

Have you ever driven an Elise ? Is it strictly for track use ? As great a car as it is for the track, it is a completely useless car as an everyday driver. Very tight fit, and almost no trunk space. How tall are you ? I would highly recommend that you drive/sit in one before you drop 50 K on one, and re evaluate what you need this car for. The 2004 S2000 has much more (compared to the Elise) interior room, and a usuable trunk, not to mention in is a fun track car as well. One is a pure track car, the other is a everyday convertible, that is outstanding on the track.

Drive the S and youll be convinced Thats all it took for me. And i feel your pain. Mt integra GSR was stolen also, it sucks but can happen with any sports car. I try to keep an eye on it as much as i can now

wow, you're on the lotus elise list?

well, considering the fact that lotus elise is one incredible car, i'd definately get it. but it sounds like you have some kind of vandalizing / theft problem, and i am not sure if the s2k is right for you as well (those convertible tops make nice targets for low life criminals with too much time on their hands).

i don't know, your call.

Get the S. The elise is exotic, but are you ever going to go all out in it? You're gonna baby that thing... no fun. Actually, if you have 40k + to spend, get a '04 S and the following year get a '00 S. Then you can REALLY have some fun.
